This district's had a lot of turnover at the state rep position, but one constant has been the same. Democrats win here. The old district covered the City of Saginaw, Bridgeport Twp, and Buena Vista Twp. It adds the rest of Spaulding Twp, Kochvill Twp, Carrollton Twp, James Twp, and Zilwaukee. The district expanded due to population loss and no longer has a black plurality. It's now about 47.8% White and 37% Black so this could make things interesting primary time. It's still a safe democrat district, going about 70% on a consistent basis.
