Today is Election Day

Certain parts of Michigan have elections today. Some cities have run-off style of elections today. Other areas have millages.

Here in Livingston County, my own Green Oak Township has a millage election.

On today's ballot, township residents will be asked to increase the current 1.4948-mill levy for police to 2.5 mills and the 1.4016-mill levy for fire to 2 mills annually for the next five years.
